Fenwick and Tilbrook Paint. Colour: Woodsmoke. Here in Exterior Eggshell. The colour of the smoke changes depending on the material that is burning, natural wood will change the smoke to a pale warm grey beige. This is the inspiration for our colour Woodsmoke.

Modern Country Style – Exterior Eggshell Paint Blog Feature

January 27, 2020

Thank you ‘Modern Country Style‘ Sarah Plowman for her latest blog feature on Fenwick & Tilbrook Exterior Eggshell paint.

Sarah chose to paint with Woodsmoke, a colour we describe as a pale warm grey beige – reminiscent of the changing colour of smoke when burning natural wood.

Whilst we range an Interior Eggshell (suitable for interior woodwork) Sarah went with Exterior Eggshell.  The Exterior Eggshell paint was used on wood panelling in ‘Woodsmoke’ which works harmoniously with the Cotswold Stone walls.

We just love this quote from the blog “one of the things that is so super special about Fenwick and Tilbrook’s Exterior Eggshell (which is what we’ve used here) is that it goes on BEE-YOO-TIFULLY. No drips, no overpowering smell, no stickiness….just extraordinarily easy to apply in smooth, lustrous strokes for a really fantastic, tough finish….and you most certainly do not get that experience with every paint brand out there”!

Some of the main features of Fenwick & Tilbrook Exterior Eggshell Paint:

This super durable finish is designed to withstand extreme weather

Its 20% sheen allows the colour to shine through even in direct sunlight and the exceptional chroma, or colour intensity, gives the impression of radiating colour, giving a wide range of tones under all kinds of lighting conditions

It is a water-based formulation, low in VOCs and almost completely odourless

The paint is quick drying, thick and easy to apply

Thanks again Sarah. Your ‘Modern Country Style’ blog really showcases our beautiful exterior eggshell paint. Take a look at the blog post for yourself HERE
